Windows Search is Blank/Empty
When you click the Windows Start button and type in the Search nothing appears, it is just blank/empty.
1. Check for Windows Updates and install them if they are available, then reboot the computer.
2. If no Windows Updates are available reboot the computer anyway.
3. go to Windows Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Find and Fix Other Problems > Search and Indexing. Run the troubleshooter software and select any options that apply.
4. Restart the Windows Search Service by opening Task Manager and selecting the Deatails tab. Then in the Name column right click on SearchUI.exe and then End Task. When you attempt to search again the service will automatically start again.
